Why we recommend it

Each floor built around a different world city, a food court that is one of the best-value meals in Pattaya, and enough air conditioning to lose an afternoon in.

Our review

The themed floors, Paris, London, Tokyo, San Francisco and the rest, are executed well enough that people photograph the corridors and the bathrooms, which is not a sentence you write about most malls. But the real reason to come is Pier 21, the upper-floor food court, where a proper meal costs a fraction of what the restaurants downstairs charge and the range is wide. Payment is by prepaid card, topped up at a counter and refunded on the way out. There is a night market outside in the evening. The default wet-season plan for a reason.

Highlights

  • Pier 21 food court, excellent value
  • Floors themed around world cities
  • Prepaid card system for the food court
  • Night market outside in the evening
