Art in Paradise
An indoor afternoon that children actually enjoy.
Why we recommend it
Over a hundred hand-painted 3D murals designed to be climbed on and photographed, fully air conditioned, and the most reliable rainy-day plan in the city.
Our review
A trompe-l'oeil museum where the point is to get into the artwork rather than look at it, arranged across a dozen themed zones. It takes one to two hours at a reasonable pace, longer with children who want every shot. Weekday afternoons are calm; weekends and evenings get busy enough that queuing for the popular murals becomes part of the visit. Two practical notes: tickets are usually cheaper booked online than at the counter, and the accompanying app drains a phone battery fast, so arrive charged.
Highlights
- Over 100 interactive 3D murals
- Fully air conditioned, good in rain
- Book online, usually cheaper than the gate
- Bring a charged phone, the app drains it
