Not a directory
Pattaya.Guide is not trying to list every business in Pattaya. We visit places, assess them and decide whether they belong on the Guide.
Businesses cannot simply pay to be added.
That gives approved businesses something much more valuable than another directory listing: credibility, context and greater visibility within a smaller collection.
Why fewer listings matter
Traditional directories compete on size. We do the opposite.
When thousands of businesses are listed, each one becomes just another result. Pattaya.Guide is intentionally selective, giving approved businesses more opportunity to be discovered.
We would rather have 100 places we genuinely know than 10,000 places we know nothing about.

How do you decide which businesses to accept?
We look at quality, consistency and whether a place genuinely belongs on Pattaya.Guide. We consider the standard of what you offer, how you treat customers, how long you have been established, and whether you fit a gap in the collection. Being good at what you do matters more than the tier you choose. A partnership gives approved businesses a stronger presence, and partner status can lift a relevant listing higher in AI Guide answers, clearly disclosed. It never buys a positive review, an Editor's Pick, or a recommendation when your business is not a suitable match for what the reader asked for.
How long does the review take?
We aim to respond to every application within five working days. If a place needs a visit or further checks, the review can take up to two weeks. We will let you know either way, and we will never keep an application open for longer than is reasonable.
What happens after I apply?
We review your application and the information you give us. If we need more detail, we will ask. If your business is a good fit, we recommend the most appropriate partnership and send you the next steps, including invoicing and how to keep your profile up to date. If we do not feel a place is right for the Guide yet, we will say so honestly and explain why, with no charge at any point.
