Why we recommend it
Across the road from the beach, calmer than the central markets, and a food section with more range than the size suggests.
Our review
The advantage over Thepprasit is the atmosphere: sea breeze, open air, less crush, and a crowd that skews local and family rather than tour group. The food is the reason to come, running from Thai grills and seafood through Indian, Mexican and burgers, with fresh fruit smoothies at a price that seems like an error. Seating is communal and finding a table takes patience at peak, though the staff clear fast. There is a playground for children and the beach opposite for afterwards. Opens late afternoon, closes before midnight.
Highlights
- Opposite Jomtien Beach
- Wide range of food beyond Thai
- Cheap fresh fruit smoothies
- Calmer than the central markets
