The seafood restaurant everyone means when they say seafood restaurant.

Why we recommend it

Hundreds of tables at the water's edge, a menu built on the local catch, and the sizzling oyster omelette that people drive down from Bangkok for.

Our review

This is the Pattaya seafood institution, sprawling along the shoreline at the northern end of Naklua Road with open-air seating stretching out toward the water. The kitchen handles volume without losing the thread: butter-sautéed scallops, shrimp jungle curry and the oyster omelette are the dishes regulars order without looking. You pay a premium for the setting and portions run modest against the price, which is the trade people accept for eating fresh seafood with the sea breeze coming through. Big groups are easy here and parking is plentiful. Arrive around sunset if you can.
