J-Park Sri Racha Nihon Mura
A Japanese village built in Chonburi, and not remotely a gimmick.
Why we recommend it
A Japanese-themed complex serving Sriracha's large Japanese community, with genuine restaurants, a Don Don Donki and architecture good enough to wander around for its own sake.
Our review
Built for the Japanese families who live and work around Sriracha's industrial corridor rather than for tourists, which is exactly why it works. Themed architecture including a replica pavilion, koi ponds, cherry blossom, and a run of restaurants and grocery stores that Japanese residents actually use. Don Don Donki at the back is the anchor. It is around forty minutes north of Pattaya and makes an easy half-day with lunch.
