Our review
The combination that makes it work is simple: an English pub layout with air conditioning that actually copes, which in this climate is worth more than any amount of decor. Screens for whatever is on, a good table at the back, and seating arranged for twos through to large groups. The kitchen is at its best on the specials and the fish; opinions on the steak are mixed, so order accordingly. Cocktails are better than the setting suggests. Quiz night midweek, and open from mid-morning to midnight.
