The restaurants in Pattaya are fantastic but the many pubs and bars around the city also offer some fabulous options when it comes to food.

Some pubs and bars will have quite an extensive menu offering international food such as your traditional pub grub, to pizzas and curries not to mention some excellent Thai food to make sure that everyone in your group is fully satisfied.

If you are in Naklua then you have the fine Shamalama Ding Dong on the Naklua Road. They have an broad range of burgers and vegie burgers amongst other delights. In North Pattaya, you have the ever popular Gulliver Travelers, not only a great pub to watch sports but a cracking place to eat. They have a large menu complete with international favourites and Thai food.

It will be of little surprise to most that Central Pattaya has an abundance of pubs and bars serving food. Of course, we have the old favourites such as I-Rover and Jameson’s but it is well worth giving some of the other venues a try such as Nicky’s Bar and Restaurant or Kilkenny Bar and Restaurant. Both places serve excellent food and drinks and you won’t be too far away from the other bars if you fancy making a night of it.

No one really wants to travel too far to their pub or bar when it comes to getting your food. So, for that reason, we have a couple of pubs and bars in the south end of the city that we would recommend too. In South Pattaya, you have the very English Punch and Judy serving very traditional British pub grub along with other options. Pratamnak has a number of bars serving quality food but if you are looking for more of pub like feel, then opt for O’Gara’s Irish Bar and they serve a mean breakfast!

Hemingway’s in Jomtien is an old favourite for good reason. This is a popular bar with a great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The food is excellent and the portions are enough for the biggest of eaters. Further down Jomtien Beach Road, you have Dee Beach Club if you fancy more of a beach type atmosphere with the food once again designed to cater for most people’s tastes. You won’t have to wander far from Jomtien Beach Road to find other admirable options.

The ever expanding East Pattaya is another area of the city that has a vast array of superb pubs and bars serving quality food and the right price. For those who enjoy watching sports whilst tucking into their food, Soi Khao Noi Sports Bar is likely to appeal. Murphy’s Irish Pub is always worth a mention again on Soi Khao Noi and the Retox Outback Bar on Soi Siam Country Club is another popular choice both for the food and sports.

If you are planning a short break away from Pattaya and Koh Chang is your destination then you will find Paddy’s Palms Irish Bar the ideal place to enjoy a Guinness or two with your food. If you don’t want to be too far away from the pub, they even have a resort available too!
