Why we recommend it
A small, quiet room on the east side doing specialty coffee and made-in-house food at a standard that would hold up anywhere in Bangkok, without the traffic or the crowd.
Our review
The exterior is understated to the point of being easy to drive past, which is why the room inside is usually calm when the rest of Pattaya is not. Coffee is the centre of it and it is treated seriously: extraction, presentation and consistency all hold up visit after visit. The sandwiches are the surprise, built properly rather than assembled, and the pastry and cake counter is worth arriving hungry for. Comfortable seating in two compact sections, smoothies and a bar list alongside the coffee menu, and no pressure to leave. Out on the Siam Country Club road, so it is a destination rather than a passing stop, and better for it.
