A small roastery that treats light roast as light roast rather than a marketing word, opening early enough to beat the heat and staying open into the evening.
Our review
Albatross is a working roastery first and a cafe second, which shows in the bean list: several single origins at any one time, and staff who will talk you through them without being asked twice. The room is compact and the air conditioning fights a losing battle at midday, so take the front seats and the sea view. Best used as a first stop of the day, when it opens well before most of Pattaya.
