Our review
The breakfast is the headline: proper rasher bacon, good sausages, everything hot, and a large version that defeats most people. Coffee is decent rather than an afterthought. Beyond that it settles into a weekly rhythm worth learning, fish and chips on a Friday, roast lamb on a Sunday, cottage pie whenever you want it. Indoor and outdoor seating, screens for the sport at a volume that leaves the room quiet, and drinks priced low enough to be worth a second look. There are steps at the entrance, so it is not step-free. It fills up in high season and booking is sensible.
