Why we recommend it
A long-established resort on the headland at the northern end of Beach Road, with private beach access, tennis courts and grounds that most city hotels cannot match.
Our review
The grounds do the work: waterfalls, mature planting and pools arranged so the property feels considerably larger than its footprint, with sea views from most angles and a private beach below. Terminal 21 is close enough to walk. Several recent reviews note that rooms are due an update and that service has softened from its peak, which is fair; the position and the grounds are still the reason to book it.
