Our review
The Avenue mall has seen better days and the cinema inside it has not, which is the pleasant surprise. Velvet seating, good screen clarity and a sound system that does the job, in rooms that are rarely packed on a weekday afternoon. International films screen with the original soundtrack and Thai subtitles, but check the listing before booking because dubbed showings exist. Cushions are available for children who cannot see over the seat. Open until midnight, which makes it useful when a wet-season afternoon turns into a wet-season evening.
