The Boat Show – Taking Place at Ocean Marina

Pattaya Guide Magazine Cover November 2018The 7th Annual Pattaya Boat Show will be coming to Ocean Marina between 29th November to 2nd December.

This is the largest event of its kind in Thailand and always attracts some of the biggest companies not only from Asia but from around the world. There will be in excess of 100 booths and boats available along with latest engines and accessories plus everything else that you could possibly imagine that would make your sailing experience complete.

The event certainly offers plenty of glitz and glamour with the exhibition show time starting at 11am every day and finishing at 7pm, except on the final day when it finishes at 6pm. There are plenty of activities that you can participate in including taking a cruise on yacht and jet ski shows. Food and drinks will be available throughout the day with large numbers expected to travelling from Bangkok, other parts of Thailand, and from across the rest of Southeast Asia. If you are into your boats, then this is something that you should certainly visit.

It is perhaps fair to say that when we are thinking of things to do in Pattaya, boating or yachting isn’t one of the first things that springs to mind. Yes, we know that there are the Yacht Clubs and, of course, Ocean Marina but this is certainly a pastime that is more closely associated with the wealthy and perhaps less so with the more regular visitors and residents in Pattaya. However, for all that being said, companies such as Pattaya Yacht Charters are making it something that is more accessible to the masses.

Pattaya Yacht Charters have a wide selection of boats to cater for almost any occasion ranging from speed boats to super yachts and, of course, the ever popular party boats. The Ocean Marina Boat Show, may just whet your appetite enough to get you interested in chartering a boat and taking in the waters around Pattaya.

You can feel like a superstar or one of the elite even if it is just for one day. Book as a group to make it more affordable and you can be sure to have a great time. For more information visit www.pattayayachtcharters.com

There are so many things to see is you travel to some of the more isolated islands that go largely undisturbed by tourists – mainly due to the fact that the only way to get to them is to charter a boat. The ‘Far Islands’ as they are often referred to include Koh Rin and Koh Khram to name just a couple.

Both of the islands are surrounded by crystal clear waters and have stretches of white sandy beaches. As these islands are well off the usual tourist areas they are a great place to relax and is just take in the peace and quiet along with the magnificent scenery.

Most will know that the waters off Pattaya are renowned as being excellent for diving. This is something that had largely been unavailable to the majority as they didn’t own a boat, had no interest in scuba diving and basically, had no other means of getting there. Pattaya Yacht Charters has now made this something that is now more available and with the mass media highly publicising the boat show and the high season just started, we can expect.

With the Boat Show seemingly getting bigger and bigger each year, we can perhaps expect more of the boating a yachting fraternity to come to Pattaya, or more to the point, the waters off Pattaya and the surrounding islands. There is so much available that many people won’t be familiar with as they often only aware of the main tourist attractions and miss out on some of the other fantastic things that are available.

Pattaya has so much more to offer than what initially meets the eye. If you scratch the surface and dig a little deeper you will realise what an eclectic mix the city is. Perhaps the Boat Show will highlight this a little more.
